Frequently Asked Questions
About Our Products
Is your honey raw and unfiltered?
Yes! Our honey is never heated or pasteurized, preserving all the natural enzymes, pollen, and antioxidants. Just the way the bees made it.
Why is your honey sometimes a different color or texture?
Honey varies based on the flowers in bloom when our bees are foraging. Spring honey is usually lighter and floral, while fall honey is darker and richer. If your honey crystallizes, that’s completely natural—just place the jar in warm water to liquefy it again.
Can I buy honey year-round?
Our honey harvest happens twice a year, in June and September, and we typically sell out. If you want first dibs, join our email list for early access.
Do you sell creamed honey?
Not yet, but we’re working on it! Once our honey house renovation is complete, we’ll be adding creamed honey to our product line. Sign up for our email list to get first access when it launches.
What ingredients do you use in your soaps, balms, and candles?
We keep things as pure as possible. Our soaps are made with raw honey and nourishing oils, our balms feature grass-fed tallow and beeswax, and our candles are 100% pure beeswax—no synthetic fragrances, no junk.

Beekeeping & Sustainability
Where is your honey sourced?
Every jar of Carabo Farms honey comes from our own hives in South Carolina. We don’t outsource or blend with other honey.
How do you take care of your bees?
Our bees are treated with the utmost care, following sustainable and ethical beekeeping practices. We only harvest excess honey, ensuring the bees always have what they need.
Do you offer farm tours?
Not at the moment, but we love sharing our beekeeping journey on social media! Follow along for behind-the-scenes farm life and honey harvest updates.
